Rules and Regulations
Rules and regulations are posted and must be observed by all guests and visitors. Failure to abide by our posted Rules and Regulations will result in you being asked to leave our facility/property and the permit will be revoked and you will be banned from the property. By entering our facility, you agree to our rules and regulations. You are at your own risk and take complete liability and responsibility for your own safety and well-being. We are not responsible for any injury or death on the property.
1. Hours of operation are from 8am to 8pm. Not permitted to be on property after dark unless it’s a special event or given permission by ministry director or facility director.
2. All guest are required to check in each/per visit (TheWildernesMinistry.com/permit)
3. Swimming is not permitted in the lake. If you do swim it is at your own risk and in any instance of injury or death, the ministry is not responsible. You have been asked not to swim.
4. *Overnight stay is prohibited – Unless it is a camping event, or you have permission from the ministry director or facility director to camp. When Camping is allowed it will be in a designated area.
5. Fishing is catch and release unless otherwise posted.
6. Dogs must always be leashed and under control by the owner. Owners should clean up after pets. *** Pets are not allowed during events. ***
7. Consumption or use of alcohol, drugs, illegal substances, and glass containers are prohibited and not allowed on the property. Violators will be held accountable for their actions and the incident will be held accordingly.
8. Please be advised we are a smoke-free facility.
9. Fires are not permitted. Unless you have permission from the ministry director or facility director.
10. Motorized vehicles, such as ATVs, are not permitted or allowed by any guest or visitor.
11. Littering is prohibited. What comes in must go out!
12. Please be considerate and respectful of other guests who are visiting the ministry property.
13. Hazardous Activities – Any person engaging in any activity which constitutes a hazard to the safety of self or other persons is not permitted. Any incident will be handled accordingly.
14. The use of any fireworks and/or weapons including firearms, B-B guns, pellet guns, bows, or slingshots are not allowed.
15. It is unlawful to conduct any commercial activity or provide any service or activity for which a fee is charged, without written authorization by the ministry director.
16. Removing, damaging, destroying, defacing, or otherwise vandalizing any facility property, structure or sign is not permitted and you will be banned from the property and the incident will be handled accordingly.
17. Hunting, trapping, harassing, or harming any animals is not permitted.
18. Guests may bring their personal kayak/canoe or use the facility canoe/kayak. No backing trailer into lake. Personal flotation device (PFD) must always be worn while on the lake in a kayak or canoe.
